What I wish was different
I wish the program I had planned had a better turn out but that’s uncontrollable when working with the community we worked with.
Advice
Definitely don’t take defeat personally. It’s a lot of trial and error in the world of injury prevention.

What I liked
There was a 6 week intensive internship where I shadowed my nurse preceptor two days a week, shadowed an interdisclinary team member (nurse practitioner, pharmacist, child life specialist, clinical nurse specialist) one day a week, and on Fridays I met with the other interns where we debriefed about what went on during the week.
