What I liked
I like being able to take part in an experience that is relevant to my interest. In addition, I liked the people I worked with and the friendly office environment it took place in.
What I wish was different
While a paid internship is probably more desirable than an unpaid one (on the surface, at least), interning at Restorative Justice still gave me insight as to some of the downsides of the Criminal Justice System.
Advice
If you are interested in any type of law or legal career, Restorative Justice Louisville is a good starting place for exploring issues related to those careers.
