It has been an amazing opportunity. Not only have I gained relevant research experience, but I have learned how to conduct informational interviews, build my resume, and get connected with other people that are doing work related to my interests.

I wish the pay was higher, but it is an amazing experience, so it is worth it.

Everyone at RFA is patient and wants you to get the most out of your experience. They help refine various skills you need for your given position and also emphasize various professional development skills throughout the internship.

What I liked

They LOVE interns. They are very patient, will teach you real things, and give you real, meaningful work.

What I wish was different

Sometimes I was at a computer for a long time. I would've loved more client contact.

Advice

Do not be afraid to ask questions. The staff there are truly some of the most helpful and passionate people I've met in the field. They love to share their expertise and learn from yours.
