I got some really great experience in the medical field doing clinical hours. I also used it as an opportunity to see if it was really the field I want to go into and ensure that my idea of my daily life in that field would match the reality of it.
What I wish was different
Without COVID it would have been much easier

Be sure to always contact places even if they are not officially looking for interns and come in with an open mind and a willingness to learn and help.
