I love working with kids and never wasting a minute of my summer. I want to be a teacher and get a lot out of good practice from this job. I went to this camp as a camper and am the person i am today because of my counselors. Its a beautiful camp filled with kind people and kind employers. There is so much joy and wisdom to be earned in this environment and i adored this job.
What I wish was different
I do wish that I had not spent so much time away from my family this year, it is hard to do a job that demands 150% of constant participation. I love it but it has its flaws.
Advice
It is an amazing experience if you spend every minute giving 100% of yourself to your job .
