Working with a good team, able to learn organizational skills, getting better customer service skills, learning to be a team leader for other employees.
What I wish was different
Better way of having a better schedule than working constant night shifts.
Advice
I would that you should always work hard and try to climb up the employment ladder to get more experience for other future jobs you may get and that can keep building on your skills.

What I liked
fast-paced, customer-focused
What I wish was different
better management
Advice
One piece of advice I would share about this experience is to be as patient. There's going to be days where the customers will have bad days and possibly be stressed from shopping (believe it or not) and in this position, the goal is to make their experience as peaceful and convenient as possible. So just breathe and have patience. It is your job after all.

What I liked
Only one goal... Sale SHOES! So that meant being creative and learning your customers. Making sure you know your shoes and offer the right one.
What I wish was different
I wish there was a commission. We were often told to sale but just getting paid minimum wage is not as motivating enough.
Advice
Staff is small so if you are looking to work here be aware that it will be your priority. There is no room for missing a shift.

What I liked
It was easier to work at Rack Room as I had past experience working there when I was in high school. What I liked the most working there was meeting new people every day. Working with a group of people from different backgrounds.
What I wish was different
Nothing much. As long as the employees are well trained there's nothing else that needs to be changed.
Advice
Its a lot easier to work at a shoe place than a clothing place.

What I liked
Working at the mall and meeting new people
What I wish was different
management of the store from the higher ups and a schedule that was more flexible with full time school schedules
Advice
Get comfy shoes! You only get to sit down in 6-8 hr shift for barely 30min lunch break. And during high sales days, like back to school week, have your patience ready and your loss prevention skills on point.
