I liked working in the Airports Group and learning about airports design for rural communities within Alaska as well are more urban airports like Merrill Field. I enjoyed working with a team that was available and open to teach me and ask any question I had.
What I wish was different
I wish there was more time to gain field work experience and time to work within other design groups.
Advice
I know everyone says this, but I think this is key to a successful experience: always ask questions. Always ask questions and take good notes with what ever you are doing!
