About Quinn Evans

Quinn Evans (QE) is the premier midsize architectural firm with offices located in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. Each office has its own regional culture and identity, and we like it that way; from the renaissance and rebirth of Detroit, to the collegiate city of Ann Arbor, Michigan, home of the University of Michigan, to our Nation’s Capital, Washington, DC, to the eclectic bohemian vibe of Baltimore, Maryland, and the Southern charm of Richmond, Virginia. Some our most notable projects across the nation are: • Michigan Central Station, Detroit, MI • Glass Gallery at Henry Ford Greenfield Village, Ann Arbor, MI • National Air & Space Museum, Washington, DC • Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Restoration, Hatteras Island, NC • Baltimore Penn Station Redevelopment, Baltimore, MD • Institute of Contemporary Art, Richmond, VA We are an employee owned company that provides stock purchase options to our Associates, and liberal benefits for our employees. We love what we do and it shines through in our passionate words, project work, and actions. Quinn Evans empowers people and places to thrive with limitless energy, ideas, and possibilities. We enable our employees and student interns to be the best they can be by nurturing an inclusive environment for them to strive higher, think outside the box, connect, and grow. We want employees to take ownership of their destiny. Never standing in one place. We build our principles on teamwork, empathetic problem solving and listening, thrive on diversity of our work, and employees. QE work offers many disciplines from architecture, interior design, historic preservation, landscape architecture, planning, sustainable design, architectural history, graphic arts, and construction services. In addition to our multiple disciplinary vision, QE practice is focused on community engagement, high performance building, energy efficiency, community health and well-being, and over 30 years working with the National Parks Service. We believe diversity is essential to our success, and we make sure every employee feels welcome, heard, and encouraged to be themselves. We ask that you join us and bring your whole self to work. Quinn Evans is an equal opportunity employer, offering employment to qualified individuals regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation/gender status, Veterans status, and disability. We are committed to diversity and inclusion, and encourage women and diverse applicants to apply. Elton A. Clark Director of Human Resources

Reviews

Interior Design Intern

November 2018 Richmond, VA
“I felt like I was constantly surrounded by intelligent, creative, talented people and was able to learn so much from their professional organization. They do a wide variety of commercial--particularly education--projects and are very much on the cutting edge in that field. I had the opportunity to work on many different aspects of different projects including graphics, presentations, materials and finishes, site visits, construction documents and Revit, and design of small aspects such as casework. The office culture was also very warm and welcoming. They had many fun activities that I was able to be a part of such as happy hours and other events.”
