I liked making one of our clients happy, making them forget about their troubles and made them feel like a normal person
What I wish was different
The management. It seemed like some of the managers didn’t care about the staff. Also that they would listen to the staff because that’s why many people left.
Advice
You have to have a backbone when working with some of these clients because they way they treat staff is unacceptable and so you have to be strong and not show your emotions even though it can be hard to bite your tongue.

This team is incredible! Extremely hands-on, all-for-one, and incredibly dedicated to their mission. Unmatched culture!
What I wish was different
I was the first intern they've ever had, so I had to pave the way for internship guidelines. That was the only challenge, but that was not difficult overall!
Advice
Be honest, ask questions, and get to know their staff.
