There was always something to do in preparing for a major event. The atmosphere was exciting yet elegant. A very insightful experience especially for a business, tourism or hospitality major.
What I wish was different
Most event shifts are wedding or other evening events which at times may be extended unexpectedly so when planning classes avoid registering for the earliest classes.
Advice
This position would be very insightful to those that would like to see the full range of operations all the way from housekeeping and furniture set-up to hotel administration and event planning. Hotels and resorts are impressive operations with a myriad of pieces.
