What I liked

This is a remote job, which is rare at this company. The flexibility that working from home offers is amazing, they game me a desk, chair, monitors, ergonomic keyboard and mouse, and laptop, all mailed to my house, so that was great. They also offer $5000 of Tuition Reimbursement not tied to any specific major, so it is great.

What I wish was different

The team is small with no place for growth. Company is lagging behind in adapting to new technology and are used to doing things the old way, not amenable to change.

Advice

Working for international companies can be a great experience, I learned a lot about Canada's culture, history, geography, economy, etc. Lean on Canadian knowledge if interviewing, and speaking French is definitely a plus.
