I wish I would have worked an evening shift than morning shift because the day went by very quickly.
Advice
Always be prepared to provide assistance to all residents even if you’re not assigned to them. It will keep a positive environment.

Building a bond with the residents and my coworkers.

I wish there were more CNAs on our team so more tasks could be accomplished in a shorter amount of time.
Advice
Being a CNA is often a hard job physically and mentally, but it is very rewarding and it’s important to remember that your work means so much to residents and their families.

What I liked
I really liked getting to spend time and get to know all of the patients.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have gotten started earlier than I did. I also wish that they would not understaff so much.
Advice
It is such a great opportunity and learning experience. You gain amazing relationships with residents. I still go back to visit them when I am home on a break.
