I highly enjoyed the office environment and the opportunity to meet with perspective students.

What I wish was different

I would have loved to have had more time with the office beforehand, nonetheless the office of admissions had wonderful training sessions before the job started.

Inorganic Chemistry Research Assistant

What I liked

I absolutely loved how much grow I was able to experience in just 10 weeks. My lab skills, communication skills, and presentation skills were all enhanced as a research assistant. The chemistry and biochemistry faculty have become some of my greatest allies and mentors.

What I wish was different

Advice

If you are interested in applying I would highly recommend reaching out to the professors whose research you are interested in and ensuring you have a genuine passion for the topic before applying. It's such a long period of time to not offer 100% dedication to the position.
