I really enjoyed the people I worked with and the opportunity to gain experience in a real work environment. I also liked knowing that I was being helpful to the school and not just doing busy work.
What I wish was different
I would have liked a little more structure in the role given to me. Some of my tasks were very diverse. This is not necessarily a bad thing, however more structure and outline would have been nice.
Advice
Do every tasks to the best of your ability, whether great or small. Always be willing to help no matter who asks. Make good relationships with those around you; it makes for a more enjoyable work experience, even when the work itself isn’t the most fun.
