Providence Church is a growing multigenerational congregation dedicated to living out the Gospel in this time and place. We believe in biblical values paired with social justice/outreach. Of special focus for any intern would be our ministry with a hispanic speaking adult population and their bilingual children. This ministry includes teaching English as a Second Language, Bible study, regular (at least weekly) dinner gatherings, events for children, and social support (i.e. grocery shopping). Additional tasks would include working with summer camp children, teens, and families.
This is a 3 to 6 month unpaid internship to begin in May/June 2019. Housing will be provided along with a weekly food stipend.
