What I liked
It was nice to be back home, and Protective does a really good job of welcoming their interns into their community. That being said, your experience interning with the company depends mostly on your manage.

I wish the interns were not so spread out across the company.

What I liked
The company culture cultivated an environment where learning and growth were emphasized. Never did I feel like an intern, but rather a valuable part of the team. I was able to get hands on experience and learn from many professionals.

Advice
Be vulnerable and put yourself out there. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, as most learning comes about this way.

What I liked
Very structured. Had lots of meetings. Learned about several aspects of the company. Worked on a group project with interns from completelt different areas. Everyone was fiendly and happy to help. They all seemed happy to work there. I was given meaningful assignments.
What I wish was different
Made Hackathon longer.
Advice
Don't take so much time out of work to think about the Hackathon group project, most of the ideas you will come up with Protective has already considered and will mention during Hackathon; everything will be explained at Hackathon.
