What I liked
Project C.U.R.E.'s Arizona office and warehouse was a great volunteer experience. I liked how I had a variety of experiences, including donation accession in the warehouse, volunteer management in the office, and donation pickup from donor hospitals across the valley. This variety provided an opportunity to develop and learn a wide variety of skills.
It feels good to be participating in an important work. While I did not have the opportunity to meet personally the individuals we impact, as all our donations go to international sites, it's possible to feel and see the difference we make when preparing enormous shipments of life-saving equipment for critical-need areas.
I also appreciated that the pace of work is flexible. A range of abilities and capabilities are welcome, and with a good attitude, the work can be moved forward with the skillset you already have.
