Advance Intern
June - August 2021 • Dallas, TX
What I liked
I enjoyed spending time learning about the employees of PwC and the path they took to get there. The internship incorporated making connections with my engagement team and other interns while also learning and utilizing data analytics tools Excel, Tableau, UI Path, and Alteryx. PwC cares about your mental health and balances work and social life and provides plenty of breaks.
What I wish was different
The only thing about my internship that I wish I could change was the fact that it was virtual. This is due to the pandemic before the vaccine and should no longer be a concern. It was still a great experience but I would have completed the internship in person if I had the option to get the full experience.
Advice
Always ask questions and communicate with your leader if you're stuck or have any questions at all. The internship includes training because they know not everyone knows how to use the data analytic tools yet. It's okay to ask questions, almost every intern is seeing some of the things we learned during the internship for the first time. They don't expect us to be perfect. So don't be afraid to ask questions!!

What I liked
I loved getting to work with the other interns. We worked on a pro-bono project for a majority of the internship and it was really interesting using all of the other softwares that I haven't before.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time to reach out and connect with the other staff so I could get an insight on what it is they do on the daily.
Advice
Be sure to reach out if you are wanting to shadow other employees in your time of the internship!

Risk Consulting Intern
June - August 2023 • Cairo, Cairo
What I liked
I liked the collaborative environment. Even though I was just an intern in an team with 4 senior associates, 1 manager, and a partner, I was treated incredibly well and I was given great feedback and invaluable constructive criticism on all the tasks I was assigned.
What I wish was different
Nothing, I loved this experience from my first day to my last
Advice
As overwhelming as it is to be an intern in a team full of seasoned-experienced professionals, be skeptical and ask questions. They love interns who ask questions and want to find ways to take on new challenges and succeed. Failing a task won't cause them to not give you a full time offer, they want to see how you bounce back and learn from your mistakes.

What I liked
The people I worked with were amazing!! Really supportive network from all levels of the hierarchy
What I wish was different
The internship was fully virtual, which I know was unavoidable due to the pandemic, but it would have been nice to see some people in person at least a few times
Advice
I would encourage everyone to connect with as many people as possible, especially people from different groups in the company, to fully understand the wide array of experiences available to you.

Transfer Pricing Intern
June - July 2021 • Cleveland, OH
What I liked
I really enjoyed the community that PwC has to offer. You meet people with very similar goals and even similar hobbies. I was given actual work that will be used with clients and was able to showcase my abilities to my bosses with presentations.
What I wish was different
I worked at PwC when we were all remote. I would have to say I wish there were more in-person meetings or client meetups.
Advice
Be open to finding out that you won't know everything when you start working there. Everyone knows that as well. There's is a learning curve, but you are helped throughout the way and you will learn a lot during the whole experience, not just about your position, but about other parts/jobs in the company.

What I liked
Everyone was very welcoming and open to questions. This internship was mostly focused on training and getting to know the company (such as the people and the softwares they use). Besides, I really enjoyed that the company slowly started introducing us to the company thus, it was not an overwhelming experience.
What I wish was different
I would've wanted it to be in person, but because of covid it had to be remote. Other than that it was a really good and informative experience.
Advice
Ask all the questions to different people and network within the company with people in different areas (even if it's not for your area of interest).

June - July 2021 • Milwaukee, WI
What I liked
I like that I was able to connect with other interns and learn about their journey with PwC and the ability to have an active role in projects/ with clients.
What I wish was different
I wish there were more exploration into the various tasks with the specified industry/engagement. Although, it was due to the engagement timeline and what had to be completed in that time frame.
Advice
Ask plenty of questions! It helps show your interest in the internship, gives a starting point to where there needs to be an improvement, and gives clarification between you and other co-workers you communicate with.
