What I liked

My internship at Premiere Creative was a very rewarding experience. John, my supervisor, went above and beyond a typical supervisor role, offering valuable career coaching and guidance. Beyond the mentorship, I gained a lot of new experience in the marketing field. Premiere Creative did not limit me to just working with one industry, and I was exposed to various new fields. This not only helped me develop more skills but also opened my eyes to potential career paths I hadn't considered before. Overall, the internship provided new experiences that significantly enhanced my skillset and helped me grow personally and professionally.

Digital Marketing Intern

What I liked

Working at Premiere Creative has been an excellent opportunity. It was great to work on meaningful projects and see them published. For example, I've gotten to publish multiple blogs. I also enjoyed the diversity of the projects we worked on. Working on projects like blog writing, HTLM, social media auditing, content creation, and more was great. This internship definitely will put you a step-ahead of other students in the digital marketing field.

What I wish was different

My only complaint would be the occasional lack of work. While this wasn't always an issue, there were times when I wished I had more tasks to complete. Additionally, I would have liked to learn more about client relations. It would have been neat to see how we managed our interactions with clients.

Advice

Like most things, you get out what you put in. If there is something you'd like to learn, make sure to ask. That's how I ended up learning HTLM and WordPress.

I absolutely loved this experience. I got to learn a lot and the company was absolutely amazing to work for. They were very accommodating and understanding. Everything was really clear and organized so it helped a lot as I went through the internship

What I wish was different

I wish it was paid, but even unpaid it was very worth the experience that I gained from it.

Advice

Ask Questions! There was a lot of things in the internship that I never have done before and found challenging, but whenever I asked questions, they were very good about giving thorough explanations and helping me when I needed it.

What I liked

Interning for Premiere Creative was a wonderful way to spend my summer. Most notably, the feedback I received after submitting several written pieces as part of this internship has taken my writing to the next level. Beyond long-form writing, I was able to take part in projects across platforms like Pinterest and LinkedIn, exposing me to the professional sides of both websites. I also think that the diversity in Premiere Creative's clientele made this internship more interesting because we learned about different industries all at once. John, the intern coordinator, is committed to seeing all interns succeed and ensuring that we are always learning through relevant assignments.

What I liked

I loved the way that Premiere Creative navigated the remote internship. Premiere Creative was so attentive to making sure I had everything I needed. I communicated with them regularly about my requirements on receiving credit for this internship and they were very accommodating. Whenever I had questions, they answered them with no hesitation.

What I wish was different

I wish I was able to do it in person! This was a remote internship that I did from home in Maryland and Premiere Creative is located in New Jersey. I think it would've been so amazing to be able to be do it in person.

Advice

One piece of advice I can offer is to be super proactive about your own experience. Be organized and keep track of ongoing projects. Every type of industry is different and working in an agency environment I recommend staying on top of it and being super proactive about what you need.
