I loved the flexibility and encouragement from my managers to explore the areas I was interested in. I was given opportunities outside of my normal internship to pursue my interests and meet people in the company who held roles which my managers thought I might be interested in. I was also allowed to sit in on multiple meetings with top executives of the company as a part of my role as a PM Intern.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to connect with the other interns more. I had to walk between multiple buildings and spent a majority of my time in meetings so I did not have the opportunity to bond with other interns very often.
Advice
Be vocal and open about what you want to get out of your time. Set a goal on Day 1 and consistently reflect on your days and weeks to see how close you are to accomplishing your goal.
