I liked the opportunity to experience manufacturing first hand. Operating CNC and automated processes was super fun while still being in a industrial and blue collar environment. Being able to move from being a hand on the floor to carrying out actual improvements to the manufacturing process was exciting.
What I wish was different
I wish i was able to contribute more to the design team
Advice
Don't be afraid to get dirty you have to work and experience you're field of choice before you can understand it enough to work on projects and be in a position to make real changes. That being said, always speak up if you think it will help the team.
