Learned a lot about what I would be doing fill time and was trusted with important responsibilities.
What I wish was different
I wish I had a few more opportunities doing different things that I would be doing later in the job.
Advice
Be intentional about learning as much as you can.

What I liked
I like the atmosphere of the workplace as well as the work I am doing. It is making a difference for the country and there are many opportunities available.
What I wish was different
It was a lot of information to take in at once and the first summer was slow due to knowing so little but the last summer (2018) went much better as I knew much more.
Advice
Devote time to learn the many aspects of the job and write the things you learn done to reference them later. The only way you really remember things is when you do it a lot. Because there are so many things to do, you do not remember everything and writing them done helps a lot.

What I liked
An awesome experience! The work was pretty interesting (and you get to learn a lot about submarines). Pay is great for interns. Bosses and coworkers are all very helpful and friendly.
