My co-workers were awesome people who always made work fun. I was also a member of the Moving Crew, so I really enjoyed the miscellaneous manual labor tasks we did throughout the summer. It was super fun being a part of a different aspect of the community rather than just an ISU student, and I was able to learn a lot about the local education system. I also enjoyed the hours: 40-hour weeks, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Advice
Interpersonal skills are crucial. There is a wide variety of people who work for Maintenance & Operations, with an even wider variety of personalities and communication styles. It's important to be able to communicate and work with all kinds of different people, and to adapt to any situation.
