I loved the remote structure and the greatly supportive team! There was built-in learning about different areas of editing which was appreciated. There was also meetings and panels interns could attend to learn about other areas of the industry which was a fantastic opportunity.
What I wish was different
I wish that there was more variance for my daily tasks as the majority of my work was the same each day. The routine was nice but became a little stale toward the final weeks of my internship, and I wish there were more areas to branch out into other editing responsibilities.
Advice
I would advise anyone in this role to try to learn all you can during those ten weeks! Reach out to team members and, if interested in other departments, make sure to take advantage of this interconnected field to learn from other people's experiences.
