What I liked

PLS Power LLC was a great place to work at! It started off as a part-time internship but turned into a part-time job during school, and full-time job during the breaks. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The office environment is local and pretty laid-back. I mainly worked with payables. Nevertheless, there was always little projects that came up that provided a nice change of pace from the typical, daily duties. These little projects are often accounting related but sometimes were related to some of the business operations within the company. I would 100% recommend considering and working with this company!

This experience has definitely taught me the importance of attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Especially in the accounting field. We hear this a lot in classes and it tends to be cliché but this real-world experience has significantly highlighted the importance of these two skills in the workplace. I would recommend consciously practicing and refining these skills.
