What I liked

I enjoyed the busy nature of the job; it kept me on my feet and constantly moving. I had lots of opportunities for growth, taking on more responsibilities as I showed my capabilities. I also loved the people I was working with and became quite close with some of them.

What I liked

The work itself was nice, I enjoyed buying in clothing and tagging them for resale, as well as checking customers out and getting to know people as they shopped.

What I wish was different

I wish the attitudes of my coworkers were better. It was difficult to ask anybody for assistance with tasks without getting a rude response or no help at all.

Advice

Make sure to get to know the employees and expect a high turnover rate.

What I liked

The experience I had working at Platos Closet was a lot of fun but also provided the experience I needed to interact with customers and gaining more knowledge on the work experience. I also enjoyed the many styles of clothing there are and the different customers I interact with in helping them find their style. Some people see clothes as clothes but for some like me, clothes are a way to define who we are from the outside.

What I wish was different

I wish that I could have expand my time with the company. Perhaps, ONE DAY to work in the corporate office.

Advice

My advice would be if you enjoy working in retail and enjoy helping others in need or helping others find who they are with clothes then this job is perfect. It allows you to see that everyone is unique and that everyone has a unique style in their own beautiful way.
