The environment was fun. All of the employees were girls considering it is a clothing store, and each shift was never boring. We would complete out work and create friendships in the process.
What I wish was different
I wish the manager would have recognized what we did right more often just because he would bring up past issues at current employee meetings even though we fixed those issues. He was also never there so it was hard to communicate with him regarding work-related problems and solutions.
Advice
Remember that you were chosen for a reason. Prove to your supervisor that you deserve to be there and don't be afraid to try new things.
