What I liked
I liked that I was working outside all day. I learned a lot about plants and flowers. I also learned a lot about the behavior of customers and how people interact.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have been payed more. It’s hard to actually live off of only $10/hr. I also wish the management at the lowes location was different and more positive.

What I liked
I loved learning about how to set-up displays, how to rearrange tables to look visually appealing to the public, and learning all about plants, gardening, and horticulture in general.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more hours at the end of the summer, but I understand this is a seasonal part-time job.
Advice
Be prepared to work outside and in all weather conditions!

I liked working outside and getting to work with a variety of people.

I wish the manager was more willing to treat the workers equally.
Advice
At the beginning of the season there is a lot of work but then once july hits it slows down tremendously and there is nothing to do. You have to be prepared for a lot of slow and boring days. Sometimes there is stuff that lowe's can find for you to do other times they will just completely ignore you.
