I loved working hands on and gaining practical event production experience. And since I worked many events I got many cool experiences and connections.

I wish I had gotten to do more pre-planning.
Advice
Be proactive when you meet people! Always send thank you messages and try and meet for coffee. A lot more than you think can come from small stuff like that.

What I liked
Working hands on and be given responsibilities that are meaningful. I was in charge of calling people and talking to clients on behalf of the foundations behalf.
What I wish was different
I wish that it was more in-tune with the arts and not so business focused.
Advice
Take all the responsibility you can, it's worth the learning experience.
