What I liked

I loved working outside, especially during the summer in Maine which is beautiful. Working in the field although hard work was very rewarding and it was nice to be able to take home fresh produce at a discount.

What I wish was different

I wish the hours were more fixed. Most of the time I wasn't exactly sure when I would be done working for the day. It ranged from 11am to 4pm.

Advice

If you don't enjoy waking up early, farm work is probably not for you. I woke up every day at 5am and left my house by 5:30 to get to the farm on time to start my shift at 6am.
