PIH Health

Health Ambassador

August 2020 • Whittier, CA

What I liked

I liked that I got to interact with the staff, other ambassadors, patients, and that I was able to make COVID test kits.

What I wish was different

Maybe if there was a way to switch your schedule ahead of time or seeing if there is access to the schedules from home.

Advice

Make sure you wash your hands after every single run well and hand sanitize after touching any surface( buttons, handles, etc)

Digital Marketing Internship

June - August 2019 • Whittier, CA

What I liked

I loved everything about it. My coworkers were nothing but friendly, helpful, and caring. I got so much more information on numerous aspects of digital marketing. I shadowed Terri, the head of Digital Marketing, and she was the absolute best mentor I could've asked for. You have the option of working a 7 or 9 week program and at the end there is a presentation on what you learned and the project(s) you completed.
