Pierce Camp Birchmont has been family owned & operated since 1951. Located in Wolfeboro, NH, our coed sleepaway camp provides an amazing experience for all looking to spend summer amidst the tall pines and immaculate Lake Wentworth.

Our ideal staff member gives 100% at work. They take great P.R.I.D.E (Personal Responsibility In Delivering Excellence) in their roles at camp. They understand in all aspects of camp life, Birchmont’s most basic motto is: “Campers First.”
As a staff member at Birchmont you will find the best camper to counselor ratio in camping. In fact, there is approximately one staff member to every three campers! Additionally we want to make sure that you are well supported and to that end, we have a senior supervisory team who collectively have hundreds of years of Birchmont experience to guide you all summer long.
Our hand-picked staff is extremely diversified and range from our own camper alumni to international candidates that span the world. Many staff members are referred to us by current staff members and their families and come from great colleges and universities from around the USA as well as abroad.
With a large staff we not only provide you with ample time off, but insure that in every cabin in camp there is at least one adult staff member on duty at all times. Additionally a large staff enables us to coordinate our staff into two groups so that there are many other staff members off duty on your schedule giving you a large social base.
At Birchmont we are renowned for taking very good care of our staff. We offer transportation on every day and night off, giving you ample time to recharge. If you decide to stay on grounds, we make our gym available to you as well as provide you with a staff only area for internet access as well as cable TV and DVDs for your own enjoyment. We believe that a happy staff makes for happy campers!
In the staff section of our website [campbirchmont.com/staff] there are overviews of the available positions at Birchmont as well as our mandatory camp dates. If you are a high school graduate, 18 years or older (prior to the start of camp) and can fulfill the mandatory camp dates, please feel free to complete and submit our online staff application. Lastly on the application, you will find an online reference form, please provide two (2) references and their current email addresses with your application. Please be sure to fill out the application in full as partial applications will not be considered.
