I love the fast-paced atmosphere, customer service, interacting with guests and my bosses.
What I wish was different
Shift times are not always accurate, but that is just how working in the food industry can be. If it is a busy day, you may have to stay a couple hours extra, or if it is dead, then you may get sent home early.
Advice
If you want to work at Piada, you must be willing to train to do multiple jobs. I started as a front line member, but now I cook, work as cashier, and help with the truck shipments as well. There are opportunities for growth in the company, especially with the connections at the Northway and Oakland locations, but I am not seeking a position in management. I am very happy with my job, and the staff is very friendly.
