I liked being able to expand my horizons and learn new skills, specifically within CAD. I truly felt like I was being utilized as an employee and the experience solidified my desire to go into research and design.

What I liked
I really enjoyed the culture of the company. Everyone was very welcoming to the interns. It was nice having a few solo projects, along with team projects.

Just having programs for the computer ready prior to the first day.
Advice
It is okay to do something outside of your major. You will learn more that way.

What I liked
They were very welcoming to me as a new engineer. Everyone was extremely nice, helpful, and answered all of my question's while training me in my new position.

I wish the internship involved more projects and working alongside different people in each feilds.

What I liked
This is a great position to get more experience working with HR Information Systems. In addition to the HRIS tasks, there are opportunities to help other areas in the HR team. The intern's job responsibilities are continuously changing and growing. The company is also very flexible and easy to work with when it comes to work schedules during the semester.
What I wish was different
A lot of my time in this position has been during the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, so a large part of the staff are working remote. More interaction with coworkers would have made this a better experience, but that is out of our control.
Advice
Be willing to take on new projects and offer your opinions and suggestions to the HR team.
