I got to do lots of hands-on experience working with HVAC drawings in CAD and directly editing them. I also got to see how people in the industry work as a team to accomplish tasks much faster.
What I wish was different
The job itself was a little repetitive, I only did CAD edits on marked up drawings and load calculations most of the time.
Advice
I didn't have any CAD training going in, but afterwards I was extremely confident in my CAD abilities.
