Exeter Summer brings together a talented, highly experienced group of more than one hundred and seventy women and men to compose the Summer faculty. Many teach at the Academy during the academic year; some come to us from other private schools, public schools, and from colleges or universities.
Our 625 students come from every corner of the globe—more than forty states, Puerto Rico, Washington, D.C., and forty-five foreign nations—for five weeks of academic study, athletics, and exploration that carry participants far beyond the classrooms and the playing fields. Our programs, THE UPPER SCHOOL—comprised of students who have completed grades nine, ten, eleven, or twelve—and ACCESS EXETER®—comprised of students who have completed grades seven or eight—provide a challenging academic curriculum for students. These students embody a rich diversity of language, culture, religion, and race.
