What I liked
The work enviornment I was in. I loved the people I worked with and it made me feel welcome and comfortable. I also enjoyed the challenging work tasks and great learning opportnuities that came along with it.
What I wish was different
I wish I had the opportunity to dive more into the real meat of the work. I know it was a short term thing and it was my first experience. I still learned so much and feel very well prepared to enter the insurance industry.
Advice
Do it! Everyone needs to start somewhere and I really do think the insurance industry will have a lot to offer in the next 10-20 years. It is a great career to start out with that teaches you industry knowledge as wlel as financing knowledge.

What I liked
The company culture was great for me, and it was a very educational summer. I was very excited to get the opportunity to continue my internship throughout the school year as well.
What I wish was different
I wish I had the opportunity too shadow more people and try joining marketing reps on a sales trip.
Advice
Be very persistent when asking for advice, extra help, extra projects. They understand you're there to learn and likely don't have much of an insurance background, if any.
