I enjoyed being able to get hands on experience in different areas of the facility. The people were all really nice and answered any questions I had without hesitating. I met a lot of people and was able to network with so many people. All of the interns were able to spend time together through team building outings and our summer project meetings. I was able to see what a day in the life of many different jobs were like including daily meetings. This was a great opportunity to see if this experience would be the right career move for the future.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time to learn about the technical operations and EHS aspects of the company. I also wish I had more time in Gene Therapy to learn more hands on duties.
Advice
Do not be afraid to ask questions and learn everything you can in every area of the facility. Be sure to network and meet as many people as possible because you never know who may be there for you in the future.
