Everything! I learned so much and gained so many connections to the Grinnell community, plus got to work for the best campaign and best candidate in the race! ;)
What I wish was different
Wish it had been more organized, but campaigns are hectic.
Advice
If you do a political campaign internship full time, they ought to pay you, especially if they are a national or statewide campaign. Also, don’t be afraid to advocate for your needs, even as you work together for a greater cause.
