I liked my job because everyone cared about me as a person and about my professional growth. The collaborative environment in place helped improve my learning experience. We all support each other and work together to offer supporting feedback. This staff truly created a family environment where everybody thrives for each other.
What I wish was different
I would not change much about how their intern program is run. They are very straightforward with what projects you are expected to cover as well as how things operate within the facility. The only thing that could have been inserted into this program would be more collaboration with other interns in different departments. I feel this would help interns create connections with other students in various fields of the industry.
Advice
The plant and warehouse are near the office so make sure to have a pair of steel-toe boots that are comfortable.
