I was able to work with an extraordinary network of young professionals and students in running a nonprofit that directly relates to the current COVID-19 crisis. It was an amazing experience to learn from such a hands-on interactive role.
What I wish was different
Obviously, the remote format of this work made things a bit more complicated and difficult.
Advice
Get involved with a nonprofit if you are able to! There is so much to be gained from volunteer-based community-building work.
