What I wish was different
I started off as a summer painter and got connected with the security company that works in the high school. I wish I had a job in my field of study, but this is still a great starting point for people trying to get into criminal justice
Advice
Stay connected to people. Be respectful and hardworking in anything you do because it does not go unnoticed. I got the job because a person high up in the high school remembered me and got me hired and it led me to a better paying job!
