I loved the people that work at PFI. I also loved the experience. It gave me experience simply working in an office as well as legal experience, policy experience, program experience, writing and editing experience, and general business experience.
What I wish was different
You can always wish the pay would be better but it is tough enough to find internships that pay as it is.
Advice
Take every opportunity to ask questions. PFI is a company that really uses you as an intern. You are not just running to get coffee. If you ask to help with a project or learn about a specific thing, they will take the time to teach you. They care about you having a good experience as an intern which is rare in my experience.
