The internship program placed a large emphasis on continuing education and offering as many experiences and as much knowledge as possible. We had regular lectures and presentations, and often met one on one with our supervisor.

What I liked
Experience in all departments of a company like finance, operations, and engineering. Responsibility to document processes and bring together different sectors of a company to work to a collective project.
What I wish was different
Less busy work, I felt like a secretary sometimes scheduling meetings to see the progress of players in the project.
Advice
It can be intimidating to approach executives and educated professionals, but they can let you in on work place secrets and tricks to advance your current project or future career.
