Loved the outdoors experience, loved connecting with coworkers and chudren and getting to live life in a simpler way, apart from larger world distractions.
What I wish was different
I wish that the pay had been better and that a better system was found to keep staff informed during the summer with the lack of wifi for some domestic and international staff.
Advice
It's an incredible experience, but make sure you're able to go without things like air conditioning and wifi for good bits of time.

What I liked
I was able to manage multiple different camp programs at once and help others with problems directly. I was also able to work on my leadership skills as I was part of the summer leadership team.
What I wish was different
I wish the training would have been a bit more intense and that I was given hands-on practice before the summer started.
Advice
It is okay to go to others if you have questions. You are not required to know everything.
