I loved working with kids and counselors. It was a fantastic environment and community to work with. I loved my boss. They were very accommodating to my schedule. I also liked how the camps were split up into good age groups. I felt like my bosses valued my opinions, and let me work on my leadership skills.
What I wish was different
I am content with how it is run.
Advice
Make sure to have an open mind, and be willing to be flexible. Plans do not always go they way you want them to, and in those cases, you need to be ready to change accordingly. It's extremely helpful when you have a mindset of "jump in" when needed, than to wait around until asked. And, get to know who you are working with. It's more fun for the campers, but even more so, more enjoyable for you when you are having fun with who you work with!

What I liked
I was able to impact patients all day and learn from pharmacists and other students.
What I wish was different
It was a long commute; I wish there was a way to work off site or a way for them to have student housing.
Advice
Don't let the people who don't want to talk to you or are mean to you affect the way you interact with patients who are willing to talk. They so appreciate the service your giving them and are thankful that you care about their medications.
