What I liked
I loved how the internship director assigned real engineering work! I was assigned 3 separate projects, but 1 project was the main focus of the summer so I learned how to juggle multiple projects at once. All projects required understanding of mechanics, electrics, and manufacturing, leaving me well versed in engineering by the end of the summer. It was great to show what I'm made of! It was a lot of work, but it's MUCH better than working on excel all day with a large cup of coffee (past internships). Also, all of my managers acted like real mentors throughout the entire summer, and my direct boss was an excellent leader.
