I enjoyed working in a positive and welcoming environment where I was able to form connections with others looking to enter the same field as me and the opportunity to work in a theater and scene shop with different resources and systems than the ones I am used to at the UofA.
What I wish was different
I had been anticipating an educational experience where I would be taught new skills, instead I found myself in a hands off environment gaining work experience and practicing my existing skills. This was still a beneficial experience, but it wasn't what I had been expecting.
