I really enjoyed being able to interact with the people we served and learning about the judicial process from an insider's point of view.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to be in the office more during my intership, but due to covid, we only went in once a week.
Advice
I strongly advise learning about Florida's laws and procedures for victims of crime. I also suggest paying close attention when in court and interacting with the victims because the "hands on" experience is where you truly learn.
