What I liked

I was given the opportunity to prepare a variety of returns. My coworkers were all very knowledgeable and happy to help me with anything. I also got to work with the partners, they would go through a couple returns I had prepared to help me better understand what was going into it.

What I wish was different

I wish I had started their sooner.

Advice

I think it was a phenomenal experience, but I think the most telling is how I got it. Someone from my class said a firm they had worked at was hiring so I emailed him my resume. It just goes to show opportunities can be anywhere, you just can't hesitate to take them. I didn't really know the person in my class, but by reaching out I found a great opportunity.
